Description:

SEEDS is a software package designed to automatically detect, characterize and classify transient/eruptive solar events, including CMEs, coronal dimmings, and flares, using image processing, machine learning and data mining technique. At the present stage of prototyping, we have implemented the tools to automatically detect, track, and characterize the CMEs observed by the SOHO LASCO C2 instrument.
