Yuming Wang suggests two reasons to study this event/period: (1) It looks like a stealth CME, and (2) it experienced deflected propagation to 1 AU. A comprehensive study of the CME will complete our understanding of the CME's origin, trigger, dynamic evolution in the corona and the interaction with ambient solar wind.

The event started on 12 September at about 15:00 UT. The ICNE date here is a MC observed at L1.
